Feature Requests

Would really appreciate if you could add tags (room names) to the photo reports, insurance carriers really like and most of the time require photo sheets to be labelled, so in a lot of cases I have not been able to use this feature and have been just downloading the images and uploading them to room files in Xactimate. It would really save us a lot of time and seems like would be an easy addition. Appreciate this feedback thread, have a great day. - Trey K.

Would it be possible to add the option to create sub-folders in the File Manager section on Projects? For example, I would like to create a folder named "Pictures", then within that folder create sub-folders named after the dates I took photo batches ("07/01/2026", "07/10/2026", etc.). This would greatly help in file organization/management.

Is there a way, when in the ALL folder in File Manager to see where a document is filed? This would be helpful as an area for audit to be sure files are filed appropriately. If that is not currently available, would that be something that could be made possible?

Individual pictures have shareable links, but it would be nice to have entire folders be shareable to the customers. Yes, I know Dryreports exist, but to allow limited access where the customer could go into an entire folder of pictures

Images: Need subfolders for each room, or at leas the ability to manually make subfolders. If there were a way to sync an Xact sketch, and have it make corresponding image subfolders, that'd be so simple. Doc and Image thumbnails: PLEASE enlarge the thumbnails. Skip all the wasted real estate used for white border/background on each thumbnail. Shrink down the huge file name area in the thumbnail (it's 45% of the area of the thumbnail!); it looks like 1995. Doc and Image viewer: Make it much larger; please mimic gmail's full-screen quick doc viewer. We can't even read pdf's; we have do download them just to view them -very slow and clunky. Doc and Image viewer: Please make it so we can use the keyboard arrows to view the prev or next file. Doc and Image viewer: Please make it so we can click off to the side and it'll close. Annoying to have to click the little "X".

When uploading pics, retain the original date taken from the file's meta data.

Please make it so photos and docs can be opened in full screen.

When expanding photos in file manager to view in the Photo Viewer, it would be nice to have the dates shown in the top corner. Right now, you have to click out of the photo to see the date.
