We are trying to create reporting that measures how effective our referral sources are.
However, when I pull from Get All Projects, or Get a Project By ID, it seems like there is an error specifically regarding the referrerName vs referrerOrganization fields. If a project has a contact listed as a referrer, the referrerOrganization field does not seem to pull the organization they come from, even if they have an Organization assigned.
Having both the organization and the referrer from the organization pull at the same time helps us track which individuals from the same organization are sending us the best leads vs ones that are sending bad leads. Tracking like this would allow us to make any number of changes to help optimize our lead sourcing (training the 'bad' lead sources to be better, reallocating marketing $$, etc.).
Let's say we had two projects that were referred by different employees (Jane Doe and John Smith) from the same organization ('ExampleOrg'). That should be counted as 2 leads from ExampleOrg, 1 from Jane, and 1 from Joe. In reporting the referrerName field should pull the name of Jane or Joe, while the referrerOrganization should pull ExampleOrg. As it currently pulls, the Organization name is empty if either Jane or John are selected as the lead source in the relationship section of the project.
If a specific project would help, Eiland-26-0078-FIR lists Jim Rector as the Referrer in the relationships section. In the same section, Dry Guys is listed as a subheader under Jim's name, designating it as his organization. If I click Jim's name, I can see Dry Guys listed under 'Organization.' It would be awesome if that would correctly pull as an endpoint for referrerOrganization.
