Event Schedule
U

There are
required
fields in the event scheduler and if you don't put anything in there, it allows you to continue to schedule the event and will even pop a flag up on the screen saying it was scheduled successfully, but the event will not show up on the scheduler, it just disappears. It will show in the project, but you will not see it on the scheduler. What would be the purpose for an event to not be on the scheduler? What is the purpose of a required field if it allows you to complete the process without doing it? It's scary to think you could schedule an event with a customer and it never show up on the scheduler.N

I agree with you 100% I think you are referring to the fact that if you don't choose a staff member for the event, which says required, you can still save the event. You won't find it on the schedule anywhere, only in the job. When we have estimates or certain other things scheduled, we don't always know who is going to do what until the day of, so it would be nice to leave it blank and have it show up on the schedule still. We do our schedule for our techs usually a day ahead so then we would be able to fill in the names.
